Today, we’re discussing just three things about futures

Before price speaks, keep leverage quiet.

Futures care about only three sets of numbers. Everything else is noise.

1. BTC 83079, 24h 82446-83173, change +0.61%.
2. BTC open interest notional: 7.70 billion USD, 24h +0.98%
3. Account long/short ratio: 1.50

My take: The funding rate, -0.0001%, is near zero, and the long/short ratio is 1.50. Leverage hasn’t picked a side. If it hasn’t picked a side, don’t use high leverage to pick one for it.

Execution ranges (based on current price ± structure, not an old chart):
- Momentum zone: Only consider chasing after it breaks above 83,744. Without a break, it’s a false breakout.
- Buy the pullback: 82,082-82,580; don’t buy if it breaks below this range.
- No-trade zone: If the 1h candle closes below 81,583, skip this trade.

My position: I only buy pullbacks; I don’t chase breakouts. If the structure holds, I can keep a core position. Any add-on must wait for the pullback zone.

Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDT-margined / Yahoo daily (5-day change) / altme_fng / mempool_fees / defillama_chains / coingecko_trending. Missing figures are not filled in.
Would you dare add to your position at this funding rate?

Useful insight: The long/short ratio based only on the number of accounts can be misleading; the large-trader position ratio is a better measure of actual crowding.
Thought: Fear and Greed <25: sentiment is cold, but that doesn’t confirm a bottom.
