🚨 📈 A true breakout or a false breakout? How to protect yourself
Have you ever seen a coin’s price rise above a resistance level, thought the upward trend had begun, and then watched the price fall again? 🤔
This may be what we call a false breakout!
🔹 1️⃣ A true breakout: When the price moves above a resistance level and holds there, with indicators supporting continued upward movement.
🔹 2️⃣ Fake breakout: When the price briefly moves above resistance, then falls back below it.
🔹 3️⃣ How should we handle a breakout? ✅ Wait for the candle to close to confirm the breakout. ✅ Watch trading volume. ✅ Don't rush to buy just because the price is rising.
📌 XRP example: If resistance is at $1.60 and the price rises to $1.62, then falls back to $1.58, the breakout may be false. But this cannot be confirmed by price alone.
💡 The golden rule: Patience and confirmation are better than rushing into a trade!
🇬🇧 English Version:
🚨 Real Breakout or Fake Breakout?
A real breakout occurs when the price moves above resistance and holds above it.
A fake breakout happens when the price briefly moves above resistance but then falls back below it.
✅ Wait for candle confirmation. ✅ Watch trading volume. ✅ Avoid buying just because the price is rising.
📌 Example: If XRP breaks above $1.60 but falls back to $1.58, the breakout may be false.
🎯 Remember: Confirmation matters more than excitement!
