$STRK The funding rate is starting to bite

Just checked the order book. Something's off.

Up +22.9% in 24h, with the price at 0.09116. Even stranger is open interest: it surged from 17.8M to 29.8M, pulled back to 28.4M, then climbed back to 29.3M. OI is up +64.1% overall.

Every time it dips, someone adds to their position. It dips again, and someone adds more. This isn't a low-volume drift downward—real money is piling in. Trading volume is $419.9M, while market cap is only $676.6M.

Now look at the funding rate: -0.0021% to -0.0021%, staying negative the whole time. In plain English: shorts are starting to gain the upper hand—but every minute they hold, the cost keeps rising.

The price is near the lows, but short positions are getting more expensive. At this level, the likelier move isn't another dump—it's shorts buckling and buying back in.

Don't rush to pick a side. Check your own entry price first.

Risk warning: A negative funding rate doesn't guarantee a rebound. If your leverage can't hold up, being right about the direction won't help.
