The crypto market experiences cyclical fluctuations, with several notable dates and months recorded as moments of historic crashes or rallies. Prices move 24 hours a day and are usually influenced by global liquidity, interest rates, regulations, institutional fund flows, risk sentiment, and project news.

However, commonly observed historical patterns include:
JANUARY: often volatile due to early-year portfolio rebalancing and tax realization in some countries. FEBRUARY–APRIL: in some cycles, sentiment may improve when macroeconomic conditions are supportive, but this is not consistent every year. MAY–SEPTEMBER: often considered a period of relatively thinner liquidity; sharp corrections are more likely, especially among altcoins. OCTOBER–NOVEMBER: historically known to be stronger for BTC in some years, but this is still not a guaranteed pattern. DECEMBER: can be volatile due to year-end book closing, profit-taking, and lower holiday trading volumes.

For long-term cycles, the crypto market is also often associated with Bitcoin halving, which occurs approximately every four years (previous post). Historically, the period following a halving has sometimes been followed by market expansion, then a major correction as euphoria and leverage increase. However, past conditions do not guarantee the same pattern will repeat.

Conclusion
There is no definitively best month for crypto investing, because this market is influenced by many variables.
