$CAP 24h is up 23.17%, currently at 0.09094, while BTC is up just 0.03% over the same period. This is an independent move. Gate perpetuals: daily high 0.09976, daily low 0.07348, 24h trading volume around 7.23 million U, funding rate +0.005%.

Price action: At 22:00 last night, it was still moving sideways around 0.073. It started climbing steadily from 1:00 a.m., reaching 0.0934 by 10:00 a.m. At 11:00, it surged to the daily high of 0.09976 in an hour, then plunged to 0.08025 and closed at 0.08952. It surged again to 0.09704 at 15:00, but was pushed back down. At 17:00, it dipped to 0.08417, then rallied to 0.09416 at 21:00. It has now returned to around 0.091, with each high lower than the last.

Why: BTC is flat. The index price is 0.0908 and the mark price is 0.0908, in line with spot. The funding rate is only +0.005%, so nobody is aggressively chasing longs; the move is being driven by buying pressure in this asset itself. The drop to 0.08025 at 11:00 followed by a rebound to 0.0895 shows that buyers are stepping in below, but it still hasn't broken above 0.0998, and there are sellers overhead too.

Conclusion: I'm leaning bullish, but I won't chase. Buy in the 0.0895–0.0905 range, use 3x leverage, and allocate 20% of the position. Stop-loss at 0.0835 (below the 17:00 low of 0.08417). First take-profit at 0.0945, with the second target at the previous high of 0.0998. If it decisively breaks below 0.0835, admit the trade was wrong and get out—don't stubbornly hold on.
