Bitcoin recovers ground after a difficult week
After several sessions marked by losses, the cryptocurrency market has recovered some ground. Bitcoin is rising after touching its lowest level since early September, but this recovery is still not enough to reassure investors. Despite prices rising on Friday, expectations remain cautious for the end of October. Amid massive ETF outflows, neutral indicators, and the risk of further declines, the market is now looking for a clear direction in the coming sessions.
Bitcoin rebounds to $82,837 after falling to $80,427.
The total crypto market capitalization rises 2.1% to $2.89 trillion.
Bitcoin ETFs record $728.9 million in outflows over two sessions.
Prediction markets anticipate a risk of a decline to $80,000 or lower in October.
Bitcoin rebounds, but the market remains under pressure
On Friday, Bitcoin was trading at around $82,837, up 1.38% on the day. The previous day, its price had fallen to $80,427, its lowest level since early September. This return above $82,000 marks a recovery after several difficult sessions. However, the market has yet to erase the losses accumulated over the week.
At the same time, the total cryptocurrency market capitalization rose 2.1%, reaching $2.89 trillion on Friday. This increase remains limited compared with the more than $3 trillion recorded a week earlier. At that point, Bitcoin was approaching its annual high, before sellers gradually took control again. The market has therefore recovered some of its losses, without returning to its previous level.
