When asked, “Who submits price feeds to the blockchain?”
I usually answer like this: Push oracles proactively write prices to the blockchain according to preset rules, and smart contracts can read the latest on-chain price at any time. Pull oracles update prices on-chain as needed, so prices can be updated more promptly. However, applications need to check for themselves whether a price is stale; otherwise, they may read an outdated price.
