Knowledge card: Blind signing
Many hardware wallets don’t allow blind signing by default. If a device can’t parse contract data, you’ll need to enable the relevant option in settings.
Early signing methods like eth_sign can sign any hash, and what you sign could actually be a transaction. Some wallets have disabled this by default.
Only enable the blind-signing option on your hardware wallet briefly when you really need it, and turn it off as soon as you’re done.
