Wallets and Security | What is blind signing? Why shouldn’t you sign something you can’t understand?
A signature used to log in is usually a readable message that clearly states the website and purpose. If the signature turns into a string of gibberish, be especially cautious.
Blind signing means leaving the verification entirely to the website making the request. If something is wrong with the website, it’s almost impossible to spot when you approve the request.
