Got stopped out again chasing that ETH short-term trade last night… Damn, that’s embarrassing. To put it plainly, it’s at $2,509 now, and the 4-hour chart is bouncing around like a flatlining ECG. This is exactly when your mental game gets tested. My system is dead set on XAUT today, and the signal is still “wait.” XAUT is at $4,186 right now, up just 0.1% in 24 hours, with a range of only a little over $4 between its high and low. Volume has dried up like nobody’s around.

Honestly, that’s typical for a gold-backed token: low volatility, and you can’t rush it. BTC is stuck around $83,000, grinding away, while ETH is lying motionless down below. The whole market is holding its breath for a big move. My grid strategy is most afraid of a one-way surge or crash, but even more than that, I’m afraid of getting shaken out during a sideways market. If I’d gotten itchy fingers and chased ETH’s breakout yesterday, tonight’s chop could’ve eaten up all my profits…

XAUT’s support at $4,179 is still holding firm. I haven’t added to or reduced my position. What can I say? Sometimes doing nothing is the biggest move. Seriously, how much longer is ETH going to keep moving sideways like this? Are your positions heavy? Does this kind of sluggish market make you lose your nerve?
