Where should you place your SL?
Not at a number that feels comfortable, and not at a distance that suits your account size. Place your SL where your analysis is proven wrong—for example, below the support level you based your entry on.
If the distance is too large for the position size you want, don’t move your SL to make it fit. Reduce your position size. Your analysis determines your SL, and your SL determines your position size—not the other way around.
