$SUI stood out against the broader market today, up around 7% over 24 hours on Binance Spot. Its price is currently about 1.14 USDT, with trading volume in the ballpark of 50 million USDT; meanwhile, $BTC was almost flat.

The catalysts line up with this Basecamp push: Hashi, Sui’s native Bitcoin financial infrastructure, announced that its mainnet launch will roll out in phases this month. The launch alliance has already secured more than $500 million in committed capital, and Anchorage Digital has joined to provide institutional custody and self-custody access. Separately, Samsung Wallet has selected Sui for its USDC infrastructure, targeting around 82 million Galaxy devices in the US. It will support gas-free stablecoin transfers, with deployment planned around the end of October.

One development brings BTC collateral into programmable finance; the other opens the door through a consumer wallet. With the broader market flat and SUI gaining on its own, this looks more like a trade on expectations of real-world rollout. Keep an eye on the pace of Hashi’s mainnet launch and whether Samsung’s US rollout generates real usage.
