Oh my gosh, today I went to Haidilao on the 4th floor of Maya in Chiang Mai all by myself! I picked the most expensive set meal, 599 baht—just over 100 yuan—for an all-you-can-eat buffet. Such a bargain! I ate loads of vegetables and some marinated beef. I dipped it in shiitake mushroom sauce and fermented tofu sauce, with peanut butter and scallions. Oh my gosh, I was so satisfied! The drinks and ice cream were unlimited, too.
No wonder Chiang Mai has so many digital nomads.
