BTC ETFs saw $21.1 million in inflows—that sounds pretty good. But the net outflows over the previous two days totaled $729 million.
According to Farside’s data on U.S. spot ETFs, BTC returned to net inflows on October 9. ETH, however, was still seeing net outflows, with $56.1 million flowing out that day.
I think the easiest mistake to make right now is to treat “turning positive for one day” as “资金全面回来了.” These BTC inflows only made up about 3% of the net outflows from the previous two days, and ETH hasn’t turned positive alongside it.
I’m watching for two things next: whether BTC can post net inflows for several consecutive days, and whether ETH can follow. One green number isn’t enough to conclude that the market has broadly recovered.
