Let's talk about Charlie Lee.
Charlie Lee once described Litecoin as a “lite version of Bitcoin,” and summed up their relationship with the phrase “Bitcoin is gold, Litecoin is silver.”
One thing worth thinking about further: Litecoin was originally adapted from Bitcoin's code. The main differences are a shorter block time, a different mining algorithm, and a larger total supply.
Halving only reduces the rate of new supply. How the price moves still depends on market demand, and there is often significant volatility around a halving.
$LTC has a total supply cap of 84 million coins, exactly four times Bitcoin's. Currently 63.78.
