📝 Alpha Trading Recap|95K in trading volume, about 22U in costs—the competition is getting tougher
I added another round on CT and O today. Here’s a record of the actual costs👇
📊 Today’s trading
• CT: about 55K in actual volume, about 13U in costs
• O: about 40K in actual volume, about 9U in costs
• Total: about 95K in actual volume, about 22U in costs
This refers to actual trading volume; keep it separate from the figures shown on the campaign page and in leaderboard stats.
🎯 What’s next
After this round, I expect my displayed CT leaderboard volume to be around 450K, and O around 420K. The final figures will depend on the leaderboard update.
Based on the current pace, I think I’ve probably done enough volume on O, so I’ll stop adding to it for now and keep an eye on any changes to the threshold.
For CT, I’ll add a little at a time as needed to meet the daily threshold. I expect this should be enough, but I’ll still need to check the leaderboard closer to the end—I can’t assume I’m safe just yet.
💰 XDP: My remaining profit position has grown a little
XDP rallied after being listed on Han Exchange. I’d previously kept about 10U in profits in the position, and that portion is now worth around 20U.
It’s not a big amount, but it’s a nice little surprise. I’ll keep watching this remaining portion. Since the gains are still unrealized, I won’t count them as money received just yet.
👀 ZEST, STABLE: Keeping a close eye on the final stretch
My guess is that ZEST and STABLE might not see a noticeable increase in volume until the second-to-last day.
That’s just my expectation for now. I’ll focus on leaderboard growth and the time remaining. If volume picks up earlier, I’ll adjust in time rather than stubbornly applying an old assumption to new data.
💭 The biggest thing I’ve noticed lately: more and more people are joining, and the profits are getting thinner.
There are lots of new competitors, and everyone is looking at increasingly similar opportunities. There used to be room to take things slowly; now, even being a little late can push the threshold up, while the costs are still there.
A high trading volume doesn’t mean you’ll end up with a big net profit. Fees, slippage, and price fluctuations all need to be factored in.
I’ll stick to my own pace from here: once my volume is about right, I’ll stop; I’ll only make up what I’m short by, rather than keep piling on costs just to make my leaderboard numbers look better.
How were your CT and O costs today, guys? Let’s compare in the comments—roughly how many U did you spend per 10K in trading volume?💪🫡
