$BTC: First, consider what would disprove the current view

Let’s start with the conditions that would disprove it. Any conclusion must be one that subsequent data can overturn.

Then we’ll return to the upper and lower boundaries. The current interpretation holds only if the price confirms it.

This record is current as of October 10, 20:14 Beijing time: Binance’s $BTC was 82,890.00 USDT, while OKX read 82,889.00 at the same time. Short- and medium-term readings do not fully align: 15-minute -0.02%, 1-hour +0.02%, 4-hour +0.09%. Volume and derivatives readings: volume ratio 0.78, 1-hour OI -0.10%, funding rate -0.0019%.

Price, volume, and positioning have yet to form a one-sided confluence, so it makes more sense to watch the range for now. Another explanation is that both longs and shorts are reducing exposure at the same time. Public OI only shows the change in total open interest; it cannot confirm which side is acting more aggressively.

82,285.71 is the lower level to watch, and 83,084.01 is the upper confirmation level. Only a move above 83,084.01 confirms an upward breakout; only a drop below 82,285.71 signals weakness. If neither level breaks, a directional view is temporarily invalid. I’ll just track the changes, not chase a single candlestick.

This is an observation of publicly available market data only and does not constitute investment advice.
