🔍 1. What is Liquidity?
The ease and speed with which you can buy or sell an asset without its price changing.
🌊High Liquidity (e.g., $BTC, $USDT): There’s a massive volume of buyers and sellers. If you sell a large position, market depth absorbs it without disrupting the current price.
🏜️Low Liquidity (Meme coins / New tokens): There’s little money in the order book. If you try to sell a large amount, the lack of buyers at that price level causes the price to plunge.
⚠️ 2. What risks do you face if you ignore liquidity?
• You hold a token that’s worth a lot "on paper" 📝, but nobody in the market is buying it at that price
