Justin Sun announced that $TRX network’s post-quantum cryptography solution is now live on testnet, and the team says it is ready to bring quantum-resistant capabilities to mainnet at any time.
In a post on X today, he said that Tron is committed to becoming one of the few major public blockchains with quantum resistance before “Q-Day” (the day quantum computers become capable of breaking existing encryption standards). Industry investment in quantum security is also gaining momentum: an alliance led by Strategy pledged $15 million to support research into Bitcoin’s quantum security, and the Ethereum Foundation also released a proposal for migrating accounts to quantum-resistant cryptography.
