🛡️ XRP Ledger (XRPL) developers have quickly patched a critical flaw in the Batch amendment, a feature designed to bundle several transactions together.
🔧 The bug was reported on February 19, 2026. It could have let an attacker run inner transactions for other accounts without their private keys, but the amendment was not yet active on mainnet, so the fix arrived before any known losses. ✅
🚀 The emergency fix came in rippled 3.1.1 in late February, followed by rippled 3.1.2 in March 2026.
📢 The XRPL Foundation says no funds were compromised.
🔐 Node operators should keep their rippled software on the latest patched version.
