I just glanced at the market and nearly sprayed beer everywhere. BETA took a straight-up 64% nosedive. Its current price is basically $BETA $$BETA zero, and its 24-hour trading volume is only 290,000 U. According to Binance’s real-time data, that volume wouldn’t even match the takings at a barbecue stall. Remember when Beta Finance was promising to become the leading lending aggregator? Now look at it—it’s turned into a commemorative coin.

PYR is suffering the same fate, down 57%, with a current price of 2.1 cents; WTC is even worse, down 56% to ten cents. These three could sit around a table and start the “Zero Club.” The Fear and Greed Index is languishing at 27, in fear territory. Altcoin season? Looks more like an altcoin funeral to me.

Don’t rush to buy the dip. With liquidity this dried up, it’s easy to get in and hard to get out. The order book is paper-thin; one big order could send it crashing through eighteen floors. Over in the U.S. stock market, the Nasdaq is up a modest 0.3%, gold is at 2,360, and oil is at 82. Money’s hiding in safe havens—who’s still going to stick around and play with these old altcoins?

Speaking from the heart, when a coin gets cut in half in a single day, either the project team has run off or the market makers have pulled liquidity. Retail investors are always the last ones left holding the bag. Just watch—don’t get itchy fingers.
