The amount burned by Auto-Burn each quarter is calculated using a formula, mainly depending on BNB's price that quarter and the number of blocks produced on BNB Smart Chain.
The basis for the two burn mechanisms is different: quarterly Auto-Burn depends on price and block count, while BEP-95 depends on how much Gas is actually consumed on-chain. The busier the chain, the more is burned.
