24h trading volume: $29.1M. Market cap: just $31.1M. One day’s turnover is almost equal to the entire market cap.
Funding rates: -0.1421% → -0.1436%, turning more negative. Bears are in control, that’s true. So is the fact that the cost of holding short positions is starting to rise.
In short: people are still putting real money into positions while the price falls. This isn’t a slide nobody cares about.
But deeply negative funding rates near the lows only make a short squeeze possible; they don’t guarantee a rebound. If there’s a bounce, the first to get squeezed are often the shorts who just opened.
