What’s the difference between circulating supply, total supply, and maximum supply?
Total supply generally refers to all tokens that have been created, minus those that have been burned. It includes tokens that are not yet in circulation.
Circulating supply determines the current market capitalization, while total supply and maximum supply indicate how many more tokens could enter the market in the future.
The maximum supply of $BTC is fixed at 21 million tokens, and the number already mined is gradually approaching this limit. Currently: 82,655.8.
