What’s the difference between circulating supply, total supply, and max supply? Many people can’t explain it clearly!
Total supply usually refers to all tokens that have been created, minus those that have been burned. It includes tokens that are not yet in circulation.
If a coin’s circulating supply is only a small fraction of its max supply, there may be significant pressure from future token releases. In that case, be sure to check the vesting schedule as well.
If you’re unfamiliar with something, avoid taking a large position. It’s safer to try it out with a small amount.
