Institutional watch | Thailand opens a regulated pathway for local BTC and ETH ETFs.
According to an October 9 report by CoinDesk, the new rules take effect on October 16: products must trade on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, have at least 80% of their net assets exposed to a single eligible cryptocurrency, and use a locally regulated custodian.
Key distinction: allowing products to be issued does not mean institutions have already bought in. Going forward, check actual product launches, subscriptions and redemptions, and changes in fund size; donโt translate policy tailwinds directly into todayโs net ETF inflows. #ETF
