💰 Various assets worth approximately $483,000 had been sent to the address. Of that, $44,000 was $USDT . Following the freeze, these $USDT s can no longer be sent to other addresses. ⛔
🛠️ The attack was carried out through Ledger’s code library, Ledger Connect Kit. It began with a phishing attack targeting a former Ledger employee, and malicious code was injected.
⏱️ Ledger released a fix within 40 minutes of receiving the alert. The malicious file remained live for approximately 5 hours, while the window during which funds were stolen was less than 2 hours. ✅
