Did XRP nearly break through its 100-billion hard cap? An XRPL official revealed an overflow bug that could theoretically create coins out of thin air beyond the total supply. In practice, only a few hundred coins in reserves were affected, and there’s no on-chain evidence it was exploited. A few hundred coins are a drop in the bucket compared with 100 billion, but I applaud the transparency of openly airing dirty laundry. The fundamentals are unscathed, so this FUD-driven selloff is a buying opportunity 👀
