$NEAR had just squeezed back into the top 20 by market cap on October 8, then fell more than 15% on the 9th. Today, it rebounded 8.61% on Binance Spot 🔄

Data (Binance Spot, 13:00 on the 10th): $NEAR was trading at 5.124, with 24-hour trading volume of 125.3 million U. It ranked 4th overall, behind BTC, ETH, and SOL—and ahead of XRP.

There’s no clear, single news catalyst for today’s bullish candle so far, but two developments are in the background:
1️⃣ Bitwise’s spot NEAR ETF (NRR) launched on September 29. It saw net inflows of about $58 million in its first week, and most of the NEAR held by the fund is staked, effectively locking up some of the circulating supply.
2️⃣ A community proposal would lower the annual inflation cap from 2.5% to 1.6% over 24 months. It has been put to a House of Stake vote, with the result awaiting official confirmation.

The scenario:
If it reclaims 5.5 on rising volume (near the October 8 high), it could retest the previous high range;
If it breaks below the 4.6–4.7 support zone, this rebound would be invalidated, and 5.5 could mark a near-term top.

If the inflation proposal passes, do you think it would be a new catalyst, or has the ETF rally already priced it in?
