XRP’s infinite-minting vulnerability patched
The XRP Ledger patched a vulnerability dating back to 2015 that could let an attacker bypass exchange calculations with a single payment, create XRP out of thin air, and spend it—putting the 100 billion supply cap at risk. The fix was included in xrpld 3.4.1 on September 25, and the team says it has seen no exploitation on public networks.
Code can be patched; rebuilding trust takes time. For now, I’d wait for a confirmed pullback before making a move on XRP.
Would you dare buy the dip here, or sit this one out?
