LPT is showing some serious action.

It surged 3.53% in 15 minutes, with volume exploding to 14x and a Z-score of 7.41. This isn’t an ordinary spike.

The key is OI: +2.3% over 15 minutes and +1.73% over 1 hour. The notional change was only a little over 200K U, but its anomaly percentile hit 99.6%—the highest across the entire pool. What does that tell us? Price is up and OI is up, so new leveraged longs are entering; this isn’t being driven by short covering.

The taker flow imbalance is 26.4%, the buy/sell ratio is 1.72, and the funding rate is also in a high percentile relative to recent levels. Order-book depth confirms the volume is real.

24-hour trading volume is only 8.38M, so the pool isn’t very deep. It’s easy to push the price up in these conditions, but keep the reverse in mind too.

We’re approaching historically extreme levels, so decide for yourself whether to chase. I’ll start with a small watch position.
