【Market Update】Visa’s latest Asia-Pacific survey shows that nearly half of consumers are willing to try stablecoins in the next five years. The survey covered 14,250 people, and 46% of respondents said they might use stablecoins within five years, up from a usage rate of 16% over the past year. About 49% believe stablecoins will become a common way to make cross-border remittances. However, a significant knowledge gap remains: only 6% truly understand how stablecoins work, while nearly half think they can only be used to buy and sell other cryptocurrencies. Concerns about fraud remain the main barrier to adoption. Visa’s head of digital assets for Asia-Pacific said consumers are gradually seeing stablecoins become part of everyday spending and money flows.
