A quick overview of the technical principles: UTXO and account models
· Bitcoin uses the UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) model: each transaction consumes some existing outputs and creates some new ones.
· Ethereum uses the account model: the blockchain directly records each account’s balance, and a transfer deducts funds from one account and adds them to another.
$BTC uses the UTXO model. The balance shown in the wallet is actually the sum of many unspent outputs. Currently: 82580.
