My personal take: Valuations are based on long-term revenue, and a one-day peak shouldn’t be annualized. The impact on fundamentals will only really show if elevated levels are sustained for a while. Also, how much of the fees goes to the protocol versus how much can flow to token holders will likewise determine the token’s value.
