How the technology works|How do Bitcoin and Ethereum differ in the way they record balances?
Ethereum has two types of accounts: externally owned accounts (EOAs), controlled by private keys, and contract accounts, controlled by code.
In the UTXO model, unrelated transactions can be verified in parallel, and using a new address to receive change can also help protect privacy. The trade-off is that writing complex contracts is less convenient.
$BTC uses the UTXO model. The balance shown in the wallet is actually the sum of multiple unspent outputs.
Understanding how it works helps you make more clear-headed decisions; it’s not a way to guess whether prices will rise or fall.
