Came across a post from Injective’s official account: Gulf Labs, part of Thailand’s GULF Group, which has a market cap of around $27 billion, is now live on Injective as an institutional validator, participating in block production and governance.
The partnership goes beyond running a node—the two sides will also explore tokenization, stablecoins, local distribution, education, and infrastructure topics such as data centers and AI computing. GULF has a presence in energy, telecoms, banking, and digital assets, and its telecoms business serves more than 46 million mobile users.
Thailand already has the regulated M-INJ fund, and now another major conglomerate has joined the network layer. With Asian institutions entering blockchain networks, validators are coming first, while products can be discussed gradually—a pretty pragmatic pace.
