There was a time when Binance Alpha was at its peak, from May to August 2025, and it was common for a single account to make $1,000 to $2,000 in gross returns in a month. Someone shared that they claimed 24 rounds in one month, totaling $1,795. After deducting over a hundred dollars in costs, they still netted more than 10,000 RMB. Fugui was running five accounts at once back then—the returns were seriously insane.

Take NXPC, for example: the threshold was 187 points, and a single account typically got 600 tokens, with the more lucrative ones reaching 1,000. In an even more extreme case, the MYX airdrop gave out 644 tokens. If you held until the all-time high to sell, one account could make $12,000—but that meant holding on until the peak, not getting that money in hand that same month 😂.

Unfortunately, things fell off a cliff after that. The whole month of November brought in just $1,100 total, averaging $34 per claim. One account claimed four times, earning $100 gross and only $50 after deductions. In January this year, even claiming all of the first 18 rounds only got you $700; only one round paid over $100, and the threshold had climbed to 230–257 points.

Things are more down-to-earth now: the threshold is basically 230–246 points, and each claim costs 15 points. Today’s round required 245 points and was changed to a blind box, too. I saw someone’s September recap showing that the Binance ecosystem brought in about $1,040 in total, while regular Alpha accounted for just $70—the bulk came from Pre-IPO and wealth management. Just one question: can Alpha ever go back to how it was? #alpha
