A lot of stop-loss orders tend to cluster around key levels. If the price moves past one, those stops can be triggered all at once, often causing volatility to spike suddenly.
Price swings can get bigger near key levels, so leveraged traders should leave more room here. If your stop-loss is set too close to a round number, it can easily get swept.
Learning to read indicators isn’t hard. The hard part is sticking to your plan even when the market gets extremely volatile.
