$DOGE 4-hour MACD forms a golden cross below the zero line, with opposite-direction histogram bars persisting for 20 bars before the crossover.
A beginner’s burning question: What exactly is MACD calculating?
The histogram is the difference between DIF and DEA; many domestic platforms multiply it by 2 as well. The moment the histogram switches from negative to positive is exactly when DIF crosses above DEA.
Whenever the fast and slow lines cross, I feel the urge to make a rash move. Good thing I looked up what it was first.
Indicators may be inaccurate, but stop-losses are essential: deciding in advance what to do if you’re wrong matters more than guessing correctly.
