KAIA has gone crazy! Up 66 points, with $34M in trading volume. According to Binance’s live data, this thing is absolutely crushing other altcoins today. The project itself is a Layer 1 formed by the merger of Klaytn and Finschia, focused on building an Asian Web3 ecosystem. Its tokenomics have a fairly high inflation rate, but it’s pouring serious money into ecosystem incentives, and gaming and DeFi projects have been launching one after another lately. The team has roots in major Korean tech companies, and the tech follows an EVM-compatible approach. No fluff—they’re going straight after developers. Today’s move looks like a Korean community-driven pump combined with a short squeeze in the futures market. CREAM also jumped 65 points, but volume was only 276K—a complete self-congratulatory pump. Meanwhile, NFP and VIB got absolutely hammered, down 65 and 63 points respectively. Altcoins are splitting into extremes. The Nasdaq is up a modest 0.3%, gold is flat at 2360, and with nowhere else for the money to go, it’s all rushing into small-cap coins. BETA is also making a move, but nothing like KAIA. Don’t chase the pump—this kind of volatility is a meat grinder. Spot might be okay to hold, but opening a futures position is asking to get wrecked. This is just my personal opinion and not investment advice. #AltcoinSeasonIsHere #KoreanLayer1
