The XRP treasury company has finally closed the deal—not just posted another timeline.
Evernorth Holdings announced on October 9 that its business combination with SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp. II has closed. At closing, it held approximately 473 million $XRP, along with about $300 million in gross cash proceeds (before expenses). Its common stock is expected to begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN on October 12; the company will also ring the closing bell on October 14.
The investor lineup includes Arrington, SBI, Ripple, Pantera, Kraken, GSR, and others. CEO Asheesh Birla put it this way: the goal is to build an actively managed XRP treasury, disclose information to public-company standards, and increase XRP per share over the long term. It sounds like a DAT play, not just another meme shell.
A few reality checks:
1️⃣ Closing completed ≠ trading begins at market open. XRPN is expected to start trading on 10/12, and it still has to meet Nasdaq listing requirements in the meantime.
2️⃣ What you hold is exposure to a spot-token treasury, not a $XRP spot ETF; the share price will be tied to token price swings, so don’t treat it as a guaranteed safe bet.
3️⃣ This is separate from last night’s XRPL Batch / PermissionDelegation mainnet activation—one is a ledger feature, the other is a public-market shell holding tokens.
Just separating the facts: the calendar has turned it down many times, but this time the closing is a hard fact reported by PR Newswire. Opening volume, lockups, and future purchases are another matter.
This is not investment advice.
