Robot company Ultra said it has completed a $62 million financing round, including a $50 million Series A led by Framework. According to ChainCatcher, Ultra said the robotics industry’s main bottleneck is deployment, not demonstration, and that the challenge is getting robots to operate reliably in open environments and earn the trust of people working alongside them.
Ultra said its current focus is on solving that deployment problem and enabling robots to repeatedly perform useful work in real-world settings.
