$ATOM The daily chart has just formed a MACD golden cross (above the zero line), after 10 daily candlesticks of bearish momentum leading up to the crossover.
It’s easy to be misled by the crossover alone, so I’ll check three things one by one:
① Whether the histogram bars continue to grow after turning positive;
② Whether volume confirms the move;
③ Whether the price can break above the previous resistance level.
A crossover on the daily chart carries more weight, but confirming it takes more patience too. Do you think this is the beginning or the end?
