Donald Trump said he had reached an agreement with Putin on supplying Russian diesel to the US and global markets.

▪️ An additional 3 million tonnes — depending on the condition of Russian oil refineries.
Trump expects the increased supply to quickly bring fuel prices down. However, this is not guaranteed: geopolitical risks, logistics and oil refining volumes also affect the market.
According to Reuters and CBS News, the US administration also announced a temporary easing of restrictions, which is intended to allow Russian diesel to be supplied to the global market.
