Micron Technology's board approved an expansion of its share repurchase program, effective in December. According to Sina Finance, Micron said in a 10-K filing that the board approved raising the maximum amount of common stock that may be repurchased at its discretion from December 9, 2026, to $35.16 billion.

Micron had previously approved a $10 billion buyback plan, with about $2.2 billion remaining unused. Micron shares fell 1% on Friday and have risen about 260% so far this year.
