Colombia's coffee production declined by 15% during the 2025/26 coffee season, falling to 12.65 million 60-kilogram bags, compared with 14.87 million bags in the previous season, according to data from the National Coffee Federation. Adverse weather conditions and lower yields contributed to the reduced harvest.
September production rose by 6% to 1.215 million bags compared with the same month a year earlier. Coffee production in the 12 months through September 2026 also fell by 10% to 8.95 million bags, compared with 9.97 million bags over the same period in 2025.
Coffee exports during the crop season declined by 12% to 11.78 million bags, while September exports rose by 9% to 1.17 million bags.
