BTC and ETH funds are flowing out, while someone is buying XRP against the trend! But I noticed something that doesn’t quite add up…
I saw a set of data today and took a closer look at XRP.
On October 8, spot BTC ETFs saw net outflows of $244 million, ETH saw outflows of $72.54 million, and SOL also saw outflows.
But XRP was different: it actually saw net inflows of $8.17 million.
On the face of it, that should be pretty good news, right?
But here’s the catch: XRP’s price hasn’t surged in response, with the market still quoting it around $1.38.
And all of that money flowed into a single ETF—not every institution is rushing to buy.
That’s interesting.
My short-term view is starting to lean toward watching for a long opportunity in XRP, but it’s not time to chase a long just yet.
I’m watching $1.40 closely.
If XRP breaks above $1.40 and holds there, with trading volume picking up at the same time, I’ll consider testing a long position with a small amount. My first target is $1.455, and my second is around $1.46.
If it falls back below $1.40 and the breakout fails, I’ll cancel my plan to chase the breakout.
$1.34 below is another support area to watch, but the stop-loss after actually entering a position should still be determined by the specific entry setup.
What I most want to see is whether the inflows eventually show up in the price.
Money flowing in doesn’t mean the price will rise immediately; but if the price also starts to strengthen, this divergence is worth monitoring closely.
For now, I’ll record my view: XRP has a potential short-term rebound opportunity, and the key is whether it can truly reclaim $1.40.
I’ll come back later to review how it played out.
