Today, let’s talk about just three things in futures.

Whether to take this trade—funding rates are more honest than candlesticks.

Futures only care about three sets of numbers. Everything else is noise.

1. BTC: 82,700; 24h range: 80,544–83,529; change: +2.39%.
2. BTC open interest notional: $7.60 billion; 24h: -0.11%.
3. Account-wide long/short ratio: 1.46.

My take: The funding rate is 0.0036%, close to zero, and the long/short ratio is 1.46—leverage hasn’t picked a side. If the market hasn’t picked a side, don’t use high leverage to pick one for it.

Execution levels (based on current price ± structure, not an old chart):
- Momentum zone: Consider chasing only after price breaks above 83,362; without a break, it’s a false breakout.
- Buy the pullback: 81,708–82,204; don’t buy if support fails.
- No-trade zone: If the 1h candle closes below 81,211, skip this trade.

My position: I’ll only trade the pullback, not chase a breakout. If the structure holds, I can keep a small core position; any add-on has to wait for the pullback zone.

Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDⓈ-M / Yahoo daily (5-day change). Missing figures are left blank.
Would you place a limit order in the pullback zone, or wait for the candle to close?
