Instituto Educar+ serves around 500 children and young people each year in the Chapadão Complex and focuses on education, technology, and social inclusion to expand opportunities.

Instituto Educar+ is expanding its activities in the Chapadão Complex, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The organization, which began with reading encouragement meetings in 2017, now develops projects in education, culture, technology, and vocational training.

Currently, Instituto Educar+ serves approximately 500 children and young people each year and delivers more than 18,000 hours of educational activities. In addition, the organization is seeking new partnerships to strengthen its programs and reach more community residents.

The story of Instituto Educar+ began in a space lent by a church for reading gatherings. Over the years, the initiative established its own facilities and expanded its work to meet the diverse needs of residents of Complexo do Chapadão.
