The XAU strategy shared earlier has successfully captured its profit potential this round. For the final call, I’m choosing to confirm the direction rather than trade on emotion. On the one-hour chart, $META is trading below EMA50, and EMA50 is below EMA200. This bearish alignment isn’t something that can be reversed overnight—the moving-average structure itself is exerting downward pressure. Looking at volume, every rebound has come on declining volume, suggesting buyers can’t sustain the move and sellers are setting the pace.

The ADX reading confirms this as well: trend strength is sufficient, and the bias is bearish. The cluster of moving averages overhead is natural resistance. As long as price can’t reclaim that zone, the structure remains in the bears’ favor. I’ll keep an eye on any rebound, too, but that would simply give the short position some breathing room—not signal a shift to bullishness.
